about
Supporting WES Practitioners Around the Globe
Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance (WES) is a powerful, cost-effective tool for tracking pathogens, biomarkers, antibiotic resistance genes, and other targets in a community through testing wastewater, fecal sludge, and surface water that contains human excreta. Low- and middle-income countries face additional barriers to implementing WES programs. By connecting WES practitioners with each other and with the resources they need, we aim to achieve a more equitable distribution of WES programs globally.
